In September 2025, our team had the incredible opportunity to return to the UCLA campus, this time for the Bruins Rec Fest. Collaborating once again with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), we spent the week engaging with students and faculty, sharing the life-saving potential of bone marrow donation.

A Record-Breaking Week
The energy during Bruins Week was contagious. Our booth served as a focal point for hundreds of students who were eager to learn more about how they could make a tangible difference in the lives of patients suffering from blood cancers and disorders.
The dedication of our volunteers and the willingness of the UCLA community to step up was nothing short of inspiring. By the time the event concluded on September 26, 2025, we had achieved a monumental goal: we added over 500+ new donors to the bone marrow registry.
The Power of Collective Action
Registering more than 500 potential donors in a single week is one of the most significant achievements in our organization’s history. It underscores the incredible impact that can be made when we combine passionate outreach with a campus community that truly cares about the well-being of others.
A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and took the step to join the registry. To the NMDP and our dedicated members who poured their energy into this week-long event: thank you for making this possible. Every single one of those 500+ registrations is a beacon of hope for someone waiting for a match.
We are still buzzing from the success of Rec Fest and are already planning our next outreach efforts. Want to join the registry or stay involved with our upcoming events? Reach out and join us as we continue to grow this movement!
