As someone who has faced racism and discrimination from a young age, Laura was compelled to join Matches4Minorities due to its goal to provide an equal chance of survival for all ethnicities. In addition, she has always been interested in the medical field because of her longstanding prioritization of health and passion for helping others. By joining this organization, she can be part of a team with similar interests as well as gain materials to make a lasting impact. 

Laura spends her free time playing tennis, volunteering at retirement homes and hospitals, and hanging out with her loved ones.
