Cadence is of Asian- American decent and has grown up seeing how minorities stuffed with healthcare access and healthcare opportunities in her community. Cadence is dedicated to pursuing a career in the healthcare field and volunteered at several hospitals to learn more about the healthcare setting. She spends her time playing tennis, running track and field, and spending time with friends and family.

Kalia

As an Asian-American, Kalia has been fortunate enough to have grown up surrounded with support and access to healthcare. However, she has seen many unrepresented minorities who haven't had the same opportunities as her and is passionate about advocating for better patient care for others. In her free time, she volunteers at a physical therapy clinic, plays basketball, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. In the future she hopes to go into the medical field and give back to the community.
